  1. (0:00~0:06) Here is a short tutorial on how to repair an inflatable boat.
  2. (0.10) Modern inflatable (boats) are very durable so seldom need repair. But should you need to make a repair, it is fast and easy.
  3. (0.24) First, I need to make a hole.
  4. (0.26) If you need to find the leak, put soapy water and look for bubbles and listen for air escaping.
  5. (0.38) Once you’ve found your leak, dry the area and mark the spot with a pencil.
  6. (0.47) Then deflate the boat entirely (completely).
  7. (1.00) For small holes, trace the outline of a coin on the patch material. (The patch material is in your repair kit) and cut out the patch with a pair of scissors.
  8. (1.04) For a super clean patch, cut out the same size hole on a piece of masking tape and place the tape over the hole.
  9. (1.18) Place a uniform layer of glue on the patch and on the boat in the area of the leak. Then remove the tape.
  10. (1.32) For best results, heat the glue up with a hair dryer and place the patch over the affected area and press it down to remove any air pockets.
  11. (1.55) After waiting 24 hours for the glue to cure, re-inflate the boat.
